Digital trim gauge isn't working.

My neighbor had the Honda ~2005 225 replaced with a Honda 2026 225. They kept the digital gauges. After the swap to the new 225, the digital trim gauge display isn't working. They are not sure the digital gas gauge, or TTL, GPH, etc , are working. They have not had the boat out since they asked me about the trim gauge. I checked for gauge wire connectors and all seem to be plugged in, but I didn't check the entire cable.

Outboard swap was performed by a non-Honda authorized dealer.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Gas flow functions have never worked, gas gauge works.

I suspect the boat was originally equiped with analog gauges and was converted to Honda digital gauges because there is a analog gas gauge which is not connected.

I have reviewed the dual engine wiring diagram found in other posts. I noticed there are two connectors at the outboard, but it doesn't show what the connectors are for. I wonder if the trim sense wires are in the second plug. I will check the smaller connector tomorrow.
