delayed pisser stream

hello! hoping someone has came across this problem, but my pisser stream doesn't start right away and will take a few minutes before it starts... also when i ran on muffs, i noticed the water was pretty warm... is this all normal? or possible water pump issue?

thanks for help in advance!

engine 1996 mariner 175 magnum efi
 
100% normal as t-stats must open before it pee's, can take up to a couple of minutes depending on incoming water temp.
 
If this is not as you have experienced always..., -be aware! I just had a major FU with identical signs, and it was finally that the metal part of the impeller has disintegrated from the rubber.
Another moment and cooling is gone

well its not new since i just bought the boat a few months ago... but the guy i bought it off of, told me its always done that for him to... i just wanted to make sure it was on the up and up...
