I use the brown permatex with a brush on all gaskets except head gaskets and carb flange gaskets light coat both sides. Be careful around reeds and water circuits. I like to see a light bead squish out on all sides when you tighten the fasteners. You can normally start it righ away but if you let it sit for a bit the gasket will absorb the solvent and set up fairly fast. I stopped using a torque wrench on anything other than bearing caps, head bolts or flywheel nuts years ago. Especially on 1/4 20 bolts, if you break a bolt thats too tight![]()
There is a spot on the intake manifold to mount the pump ----No pulse hose needed.
