Constant Warning Buzzer on 2006 90HP Optimax

I have a 2006, 90HP Optimax. At approximately 4000 RPM the warning buzzer comes in and constant. The oil reservoir is full and the water discharge is strong and steady.
I have changed the impeller and I think that I have unplugged any sensor to troubleshoot, without any result. This thing is driving me crazzzzyy. Any ideas?
Should the oil level sensor be NC or NO (normally closed or open?)
If I unplug this senor, I get a 4 beep every 2 minutes in addition.

Gonna take a wild flyer here and repost wat was said toe me less then 2 weeks ago,,,Efi or Carb?? if EFI might have fuel filter/water trap....you will find it full of water, cleanout or replace

Your Optimax is a DFI. And I agree with mykc, it sounds like the shift event switch. You can disconnect the switch and see if you get full RPM's and no alarm. No need to go to the deal for this. Try this first.

thank you guys, but it is not the fuel filter/water trap nor the shift switch.
The filter was clean and no water in the trap and I disconnected the switch without any result.

Yes, mykc was right. I went to dealer, hooked it up to a CDS and there it was. It shows that the shift switch was faulty (jumping from neutral to gear). For now we bypassed it. Problem solved. Thanks again.

I think I might be having the same problem with my outboard (97 150EFI) but I was wondering what the tone was that you were getting exactly. It it a constant beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep or a rapid constant beeping?
