Choosing an out drive

Starting a new project. Engine is 4.250 stroke big block making over 600ft/lbs of torque from 3000-5000rpm with a peak of 640ft/lbs @ 4600rpm. Peak HP is 585@5700rpm. Looking for Glastron Carlson or equivalent hull no more than 21' in length.
What out drive will live in such a set up?

Reaserch off shore types with high horse power to see what they are running.
Many I have seen with 500-600 HP use a Bravo 1 upper and a bravo XR lower.
putting that much power in a 21 ft boat may not be such a good idea...especially a glasstron....much better hulls out there. Besides i would think on a hole shot that hull will stand straight up.....lol
 
Money is always considered. If there's something that will handle it readily available it beats spending on something thats over kill. Now, if nothing available then overkill it is.

I was thinking the Glastron Carlson because they ride well and are roomy. Finding an older one in great shape isn't hard either. They were very popular in the midwest and along the northern border. What else would be comparable ride and room wise. Want to stay shorter for ease of maneuvering. My driveway is kind of tight and it'll have to go in the garage with small tractor.

The wife just won't go for a flat bottom. I've considered the Jet option. I like building what others haven't.
