Changing fuel pump on a J200TXDEDR

I am changing a fuel pump on a 1996 200 hp Johnson. Does anyone got some advice on what to watch out for?

Why are you changing out the fuel pump ?----------What is your motor doing / not doing ?.--------------Fuel pumps are easy to inspect and repair.

The old one is leaking gas and the motor only runs on the initial gas that is pump in the initial start up procedure

Be careful as the nipples are thin an prone to break.... You putting on the VRO fuel pump or a VRO mixing pump?
