Bravo one external cracked block???!

Have a 99 272 Baja with a 7.4 Magnum bravo 1 notice a lot of water draining from engine compartment so next time at the lake checked out and had a lot of water running out the block what's baffling me temperature gauge never got hot ever and trying to figure out how this correct block actually happened going to try to pair with bellizona

Edit. Any input on how this happened and if that belzona 1111 can fix this.

Have used Belzona on steam turbine half joints.-----Very good stuff.----I do wonder why folks do not drain the block in cold weather.----The drain is right there no tools required.
 
I agree đź’Ż it's my dad's boat and he put a little heater in it ,we live in central Texas had a few cold days but guess it wasn't enough. But thanks for info I'm going to try the belzona and hope for best. And I will be winterizing from now on.
 
I can't believe that epoxy will seal that completely or permanently, but who knows. Worth a try I guess. You must clean that area really well down to bare metal, and it has to be dry. If you can achieve that, the epoxy might stick. Since it's just the external water jacket you might get away with it, but you must expect that the repair will fail at any time and may be worse than before. If it happens out on the water you might be stranded. If you can live with that, try it.
