BF45 Oil Pressure Alarm problem

Having trouble figuring out why my green Oil pressure light is not coming on. I disconnected the yellow wire at the oil pressure switch and the green light did not come on. After disconnecting the yellow wire with the engine running I checked continuity from the switch to ground and it is open. I have also reconnected the yellow wire and checked for voltage and have voltage at the oil pressure switch, this indicates to me that I have voltage going to the light?
Checked Oil, it is fine
When the oil pressure light issue first occurred the Red over heating light came on and the alarm buzzer went off. I thought this was weird because the motor was peeing great, not over heating. The Red light went out after about 10 minutes of idling and has not come back on.
Any ideas why the green light is not coming on?

Thanks ahead of time for any help!

Not sure if they are the same but there's a current thread about the green light not working on a BF15D posted by Killerbean.

He ended up replacing his lamp assembly and it didn't work at first but when he tinkered a bit more it started working. Possibly a loose connection although he is convinced that his old bulb is bad.

He measured the voltage on the orange wire connector and said he had 118 volts ac to the lamp.

His is a tiller pull start only with the bulb mounted to the oil case. The remote control lamp is a module inside the remote shifter so slightly different.

Just tossing it out there.

Good luck.
