Bf40a4 bays3400122 - oil drip

Some oily residue dripped from the 2 vinyl tubes that attach to the bottom of the silencer cover onto the top of the right hand side of the mount frame.(the motor had been trimmed all the way up when I noticed it).
I removed the silencer cover and the inside of the end of the breather tube was wet. Looked like oil vapor had blown from breather tube into silencer cover and condensed to bottom of silencer cover.
The lake is low and I had run over sandbars with the motor trimmed up to the point that the anticavitation plate was even with the top of the water. (the pisser was always working.) Can running with motor trimmed to the max cause crankcase oil to churn and send vapor thru the breather tube?
Thanks,
Bill

I don't think you did anything "wrong" but running it like that could contribute to some oil getting into the tube. I suspect that your engine is producing some higher than "normal blowby" and it is causing oil to pool in the muffler. If it's a high hour unit, then it would not be an out of the ordinary occurrence. If she runs good, doesn't use too much oil and the plugs look good I would not be overly concerned.
