bf130 oil filter can i use 15400-pt7-005

Hey guys can someone double check me, i got a bunch of spare honda parts awhile back, most was for my motor. There's a couple of new sealed oil filters 15400-pt7-005
will these work on a 130? Having a bit of a time figuring it out but from a google it seems this was superseded by

15400-PLM-A01

So i'm thinking these pt7-005's i have will be ok for an older 130 (1999)?
 
I think i got it, i looked at the filter on the motor and it was a fram number whhich cross referenced to this one, so it's just this one was superseded
 
The original oil filter for the 130 was 15400-POH-305PE. It superceded to the 15400-PLM-A01. There was also another one in the part list for an alternative 15400-JZ1-004....this one superceded to the 15400-POH-305PE. Any of those should be fine, but I would not chance the one you were asking about.

Once you have the right filter, you might want to cross reference to the NAPA Gold Series filters. I've switched over to those (Honda 15400-PLM-A01PE to NAPA 1356) and it seems to keep my oil cleaner than the OEM Honda filters. Besides, they are widely available and cheaper to boot.
