BF115a No start voltage issues.

I am working on my dads motor. It died on him on the lake and had to get it towed in. I have fuel to the high pressure pump. It is not pumping. I am only getting 7.9 volts from the battery switch to the starter. Also, all three fuses are at 7.9. I have a strong 12.8 from the battery to the switch and out. I disconnected the battery feed to the starter and from the switch and I have good resistance. Something must be going to ground to drop that much voltage. Anyone know where to look?

Sorry, I have no service information or experience with this model so this is just a guess about your issue.
You might check the connections.at the main relay (item 22 in the link)


Also, I see four 30 amp fuses (item 37) and a couple of 10 amp fuses.(item 36). You could maybe try switching fuses with their like amp counterparts to see if anything changes. Not having a wiring diagram it's only a guess but one of those 10 amp fuses may be for the HP pump.
A fuse can look ok and even deliver voltage but can still be bad sometimes.

Although, this sounds more like a poor/loose connection somewhere to me.

I haven't found a wiring diagram yet. I now have 12volts coming out of the blue/yellow striped wire on the main relay. I don't have any voltage going to the blue/yellow striped wire on the fuel pump. I tested it for continuity but got no resistance.
 
Again, the pump should receive power via a 10 amp fuse. I can't tell you which one because I don't have the wiring diagram either.
You have to keep in mind that the ECM will only allow power to that fuse for about 2 seconds after the ignition is switched on or until it sees an RPM signal from the crankshaft sensor. So, you either need to hook your meter up to the circuit prior to switching on ignition or be very quick.

If the engine won't crank over, that's what may be causing you to not see a voltage at the pump.

You mentioned 3 fuses. I see 6 blade type fuses plus the 90 amp main fuse on the parts page I sent you. But that is for the 2007 and later models. Is your dad's boat older than that?

Your statement about seeing only 7.9 volts in your original post and now seeing 12 volts from the main relay reinforces my thinking that this is a bad connection. But without a proper wiring diagram I'm afraid I'm helpless to suggest where to lock.
