Well a long story short is I had to extract the oil change extraction tube that got cut off inside the oil pan. Turns out the inside edge of the mount case dipstick tube hole is very sharp. Removed the gear case, extention case & oil pan. Removed about 2.5 feet of tubing and put everything back together. Everything went very smooth. However I cannot shift into forward. I made sure the shift rod was installed correctly. It is. I removed the gear case again and diconnected the shift cable at the linkage. The linkage won't shift into the forward position. Something is preventing it from shifting forward, R & N are okay. Any ideas before I tear into this thing some more?
