Hello, I have limited expertise in my area on Honda outboards.
I got a 2025 Lund adventure with a 100honda vtec. My RPM is 7100 WOT. I don’t run it at that at all since I know that’s abit high. I got a 13.25x17 pitch (3 blade) on right now.
I’m ordering a 13.25x21 (4 blade) stainless.
Looking for pitch options, or what fellow boaters are getting for RPMS with different pitches before I order since I can’t return once I buy since it’s aftermarket.

Hi Alex,

I have no experience with this outboard and no service information on them either so just making these comments for discussion only and not ssuggesting that you should base your decision on what I have to say. I am FAR from being an expert on this subject.

As far as I know, 7100 rpm on a Honda outboard is more than "a bit high"...

Most of the rev limiters I'm aware of for these 4 strokes is approximately in the 6000 rpm range with top rpm operation listed between 5500 and 6000.

There are several props offered for the 4 cylinder models that are 3 X 14" X 23P so I believe those options are open to you to bring the WOT rpm down considerably if you decide to do that.

I see the Lund Adventurer hull is made for easy planing so giving them a call might produce some useful suggestions/information about how to prop it with that outboard.

Just a couple of thoughts.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.
