belt keeps breaking on optimax

hey guys, i need some help with my 2002 135 HP optimax! the belt for the air compressor keeps breaking .has anyone experienced this?
it only has 350 hrs on it and runs fine when i replaced the belt last month i only had it out twice before it broke again. whats up?

Check for burrs on the pulleys. Is the tensioner for the belt seized?

thanks ,mechanicman! took it to a mrercurycertified mechanic when it initially broke and ask him what he thought that made it break and his reply was probably never been changed.looks like i need to change mechanic.
