Battery Screw Up

I have a 1988 Sunbird Eurosport I 18' with a 1988 OMC 4.3 L engine. I was just getting it going for the summer months and between trying two batteries and eventually figuring out the starter was the issue. So to make sure the original battery wasn't the issue I hooked it back up to try it once more and turned the key and absolutely nothing happened. Looked down and sure enough I hooked up the battery backwards. Changed it back over and of course nothing. To my knowledge the fuses are blown so I checked the one in my CD player and sure enough it was blown. Problem is that is the only fuse I know of, much less anything else I may need to check. What do I need to check and where are these located. I know total idiot move, but bite the big one and fix it so I'm just looking for some help.

You can get the glass fuses at any auto parts store. Get a few extras as mentioned. Cheap fix.
