I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my 1995 Johnson 150hp. I just got the block back and now I need to buy a complete rebuild kit. I plan on replacing everything. The block was bored .030 so I need to buy pistons too. The machine shop advised me to go with cast piston, not forged. I also want to rebuild all 6 carburetors and install a new water pump. I didn't know if there is a kit that will have these also. I know OMC is the way to go and is a bit pricier but will the aftermarkets due? Just looking for professional advise on this matter.
