95 Mariner 150 efi

I have a 95 mariner 150 efi that will run great when I first put it in the water (full throttle), probably 200-250 yards or so then it stops and cuts off. I can recrank it and it idles fine. While in neutral I can give it gas with the hot foot and it doesn't cut off. If I put it in gear and try to give it gas it will cut off. If i wait 5-10 min after it cuts off I can recrank and run wide open again before it shuts off again. I cleaned all the fuel out of my tanks, cleaned my final filter, changed separater filter, rebuilt my mechanical pump but now I'm lost and don't have a clue. Anyone ever had this type of problem before?:confused:
 
Whats your charging voltage when running? If to high it can overheat fuel pump and also cause ECU to act goofy. Also the main fuse if connections bad can cause symptoms like this.
 
Finally got around to checking the voltage. At wot it got up to 19.5-19.6 before the motor shut off. Going to change the voltage regulators. Thanks
