92 fast strike 150 spark problem

I'm only getting fire to one cylinder. What could be the cause?

Could be pack or eye..also wont fire in bright sunlight with cowl removed

What's the purpose of the "eye"?

There is an encoder wheel on top of the flywheel.----There is an electric eye that sees that wheel.------Tells the powerpack to send spark signal to the coils.
