91 Mariner oil injection

Does someone please have the time to help me understand something I have a 1991 50hp Mariner 7050412yd on my particular model I have the oil injection pump with no linkage to the carbs. So what controls the oil flow? The Model above mine as the oil pump with the linkage. I’m running a little Smokey in neutral and was just trying to work This out. Thanks

Should have a linlage to carb or spark/throttle lever on block. When disconnected pump goes to full rich model
