'91 FastStrike 150 Rebuilt Carbs wont idle

Replaced Floats, side gaskets fuel bowl gaskets, spaghetti gaskets to head, needle n seat all the typical parts that come in the kits.
Do I need to go back and adjust "Level" the floats, it starts, but won't run but a few seconds, put it in gear and it dies. Water separator, filter replaced, gas drained and fresh, wondering if the Kit components non-oem aren't the source of the problem. Owned it since new.

Did you remove any of the jets when cleaning? If so did you reinstall in correct location? Did you install plastic washer under the inlet needle?

No, I didn't see where those went, I saved them.
The floats weren't close to parallel hanging down 1/4" so I levels them.
I ran a wire thru the Jets, replaced them with the lower jet being the biggest.
The original parts didn't have a clear spacer.
Where is the inlet jet, And thanks for your response.
 
If you were to look at a carburator parts breakdown,you might be able to see what parts are called and where they go.
A.020 wire wont lean a .070 hole very good.
 
Cleaned all orifices with carb cleaner n compressed air.
I figured it out, the floats need to be adjusted to be parallel and close to level with the body.
And they were all over the place as much as 3 /8".
I also have crap gaskets and will replace with oem.
