my rpm gauge quit working, i replaced it.
it still does not work. anyone know here the sending is located on the engine ?

On most outboards it gets it signal from rectifier

And make sure the wire that feeds the signal to the tach isn't busted along the way.

The tach lead should be "purple" - it comes up to your shifter as part of the main harness and then from the shifter up to the tach...
