89 200 2.5 v6 mercury need help no spark at all

there are some wires not plug in but i cant see were they would go. the motor must be a newer year soi need to find were they are located. there are not wres disconected al over the wires that are not coneneted look like they may not need to be conected the kill tether is what black and yellow or not should it be conected or no thanks for helping me
 
is there a nother name for the control box and which side of the motor is it located i need to bypass the tether from the motor i can not get any spark at all from this motor and i found many numbers on the motor but not the serial num. were is it located the starter works fine.

i gess the motor is a 91 when i was looking for the way my elec. is the 91 look right and they only made one model in 91 2.5 200hp

i hope this is in english,my motor is a 200 mercury od213741 2.5 offsure,and i am trying to bypass the tether on the moter so i can get spark if anyone can help i would be thankfull,i have work or many of johnson,mostly 50hp and under,but this is a mercury so any help would be great. (on spark at all)
 
Disconnect the main harness from engine ,it just unplugs from itsself, jumper the starter solenoid and see if you have spark. Make sure spark plug wires are removed as engine may start
