On the first start my boat stays in idle even when at full throttle. It slowly starts to build up power and then is fine for the rest of the day. Mechanic can't find any problems. Fuel lines, fuel pump, coils/wires all replaced. Sometimes the boat takes off like a bat out of hell and other times it seems to run slower. When that happens I notice a gas smell. Could the choke be sticking? Any help would be appreciated.
