Hello and thanks to anyone who can help me in advance. I have the above stated engine. The problem is it ( loses power) or RPM for lack of better knowledge. You can run it all day and nothing will happen, starts fine runs like a champ, then sometimes it will just lose power, it wont totally die it just wont go above 3000 rpm. You can let it sit for a couple of hours and it will be fine again, and then might not do it might not act up for awhile. Here's whats been done so far. I have taken it to a reputable mechanic, both spark and compression tests came up aces(160psi) per cylinder. He also put it in the water and could not get it to act up.He also stated he heat treated ignition components? and it still tested good. I gave it a spark test when it was acting up and cylinder 6 had a weak spark. Installed new power pack on 6, and 2 new switchboxes. That seemed to make it better but still didnt remedy the problem completly..
