48 SPL Reed Valves

Have been looking for OEM reed valves for 1988 48 SPL. Everywhere I look indicates no longer available. I use the boat for recreation fishing only. Can someone recommend best source for replacement reeds?
 
Lots of good used are available.---I might even have some new ones.-----Your location ?-----Not much goes wrong with them !----Have to ask , what is your motor doing / not doing ?

runs good at speed. After several stops and starts, it gets extremely hard to start. Acts flooded, and fuel collected in the bottom of the engine compartment. I have rebuilt the carbs, replaced the fuel pump, fuel line and ball, new plugs, new fuel. I plan the reset the float levels a little lower to see if that helps. I have seen several mentions of leaking reeds. The reeds are the original(1988).
 
There is not much that can go wrong with reed valves.-------I do not believe the reeds are your problem.----What ignition trouble shooting have you done.----What is the compression on this motor ?-----Have you test run with another vented fuel tank ?-----Did this issue show up suddenly ?----Does spark jump a gap of 7/16" on a test device ?----Have you load tested the battery ?-----Have you inspected / pulled apart your starter motor ?
