Good afternoon,
I went to winterize the boat earlier and could not get it started. I could only get it to sputter after pouring a little gas directly in the carburetor. So, I disconnected the fuel line from the carb and cranked the engine over....dry as a bone...no fuel. Also, when I put my hand on elec fuel pump it was very hot to touch. The engine is a 1995 Crusader 454 XL.
Question for the forum..did the fuel pump burn/wear out?
I guess I am lucky it happened in my yard, and not out at sea.
Thanks in advance.
