I need a new harness. Ian looking for the part number/how many wire harness needed. It the engine to key switch harness. Wanted to make sure I get the right one.
Thanks

What length harness do you need? The original harness for your motor is not a available anymore but if you give me the length I can give you the part number for an alternative

You will have to order 32205-ZY6-010ZA. The only difference between this and yours is the 3 pin harness on yours is a 6 pin on this one. All you need to doHope is de pin the 6 pin plug and your 3 pin plug and use the 3 pin plug on the relevant wires on your new harness and cut off the remaining 3.Hope this helps

I got the new harness. Now the question is how to cut the plastic tabs in the
6 wire plug to make the 3 wire plug fit? Once it’s plugged how to keep moisture out? Silicone?
Thanks

Remove the pins from the 6 pin plug and fit the colours corresponding with the old ones into the old three pin plug

Removing pins from a plug is easier said than done for many of us. It's close to an art form.... but it CAN be done!

There will be a tab on each pin. Most often a really TINY tab, that locks the pin into the plug. The 1st trick is locating it. The 2nd will be depressing it to the point it will release from the plastic plug, without damaging the pin. Magnifying glass and T or straight pin are often the weapons of choice - those and a major dose of patience....

How do I cut the plastic tabs in the plug. They are too big for the three pin to fit. If I cut them completely out ? Aren’t they for something?

You aren't going to cut anything. You're going to pull the pins from one plug and use them in place of the ones in the other plug.

IMG_2975.JPGThese plastic tabs. They are in the way of the three prong plug to fit.
