Hoping someone can point in the right direction I'm in remote Alaska so dealership service is a No Go, I'm 250 mile south of Kodiak on the coast. My boat I have twin 250 both ran great at year end last fall. Changed the Oil, new water pump (impeller). This year first trip out my Port engine high temp warning come on. Motor was peeing great but water was cool. This is what I have done do date.

1. Replace the poppit, temp control valve.
2. Replaced both thermostats
3. Put a new impeller on
4. Hooked up to fresh water flushed

The does not overheat when running higher rpm 4000+ Only when I drop to idle and within a couple of minutes the high temp comes on, I don't have a temp reader but I can tell it is hot-Starboard engine is running cool.
When I first ran the boat it would pee fine not after all these replacement its not peeing when I put the lower unit in a drum, however it did pee just fine on the water not that I have replaced all above items it's not peeing unless I hook up the fresh water flush it pees but still overheats.
Any help would be appreciated, the Reds Salmon are out there and I'm stuck at Dock!!!
