I am having issues somewhere in my control head, I think; it is a single engine control head, not the double. Currently it is just having issues when I try to put the throttle into gear (both forward and reverse). Sometimes it works just fine, but other times I have to turn the motor off or even shutoff the batteries and then restart it and then it will start and go into gear. I have brought it to two different repair shops. The most recent shop replaced a gear, actuator (24615-ZX2-001AH). It seemed to work right off the bat, but then gave me these issues. The time before this not only did I have same throttle problems, but it also had problems with the tilt and also sometimes wouldn't start. The first shop I took it to replaced a motor, power tilt (36120-ZX2-013) and it seemed to fix the problem for a few months (through the summer). When I run the Activate Alarm Code Retrieval on the control head, I get a Code Category 1 and Code Detail 1 (one blink on the Select LED, and one blink on the Warm LED) and I don't seem to see any other codes. The manual tells me this should be either an Engine Control Unit Failure, a Communication cable failure, or a control head failure. I guess I am just wondering if anyone else has had this same issue?
