2014 Honda 250

Honda 250 coming out of gear into neutral bad grinding noise going back into gear is fine .What to look for and how to fix?

Cables are not adjusted correctly, need to adjust so that neutral is correctly set. Disconnect the shift cable and allow the shift actuator to locate in the neutral detent. Adjust cable end to slio straight one without moving the shift to align, if that makes sense

would that be part of the actuator cause i have the fly by wire Honda

What year is your, they have DBW and IST.The DBW is the older version and did have problems and is more than likely an actuator issue. There were some recalls so you would need the help of a dealer

the year is 2014 a 250 Honda motor over a year ago i had the actuator replaced not under warranty

Again, suggest dealer intervention, these DBWs were a little problematic.
