2006 BF90A BUZZER and limp mode

I have a 2006 BF90A that got a buzzer while idling thru a no wake zone. No red temp light, oil pressure lights green. Removed thermostat, verified temp and oil sensors work. Swapped out the ecu, still limp mode and buzzer over an idle. Can the trim angle sensor trigger the buzzer? Trim/tilt gage is pegged up and not working. I've unplugged the green yellow black angle sensor clip, motor starts, but still in limp w buzzer? Motor appears to run fine but above idle no spark advance and stalls.

Does anything change if you leave the temperature sensor disconnected? Separately try the same with the oil pressure sensor. I don’t own a 90 and don’t know what SHOULD happen with these sensors disconnected but that’s what I would try.

Is the telltale putting out a normal amount of water?

No changes with either or both temp or oil sensors disconnected. They're both grounding switches, on for good oil pressure and on for overheat. Those seem to operate normal. The only other sensor input to the ecm is trim angle. That switch looks normal, but the gage is pegged off the marks. With angle sensor unplugged no change, with gage unplugged it goes back to down ( key off) position....?

On my 1999. 130 my trim angle sensor is disconnected, no alarm sounds. You’re saying the alarm sounds and outboard is in limp mode immediately on a cold startup?

Does your Honda have the 2 red lights that light when the alarm sounds, as well as the oil pressure and charge lights that cycle when you turn the key to on? Maybe something wrong with your wiring to those 2 red alarm lights? I don’t think these vintage Honda outboards have a very sophisticated electronics system for triggering the alarm or limp mode.
