This is 9.9hp 4-stroke, Bf9.9d, I just finished putting in new spark plugs,. oil change, lower unit gear oil, started motor and it started and ran fine. Shut it down, pulled the lower unit checked the water pump and it had a broken lobe, replaced the impeller and put it all back together. Now it won't even hit at all just crank no start at all. Pulled a spark plug and cranked it a couple times watching the plug, did not see any spark, my grandson couldn't see a spark either. I am beginning to believe this motor is cursed. I assume the plugs are Ok since I just replaced them and the engine started and ran fine. So what is the next thing to look at?
