2004 mercury 150 xr6 cranking problems.

I have a 2004 mercury 150 xr6 that just recently would not crank during take off at our local bass tournament. The only way I can get it to crank is turn the throttle wide open and it fires right up. But it idles rough at slow idle and Max speed was only 52 (usually runs 58-60). Any ideas ?

Sounds like a carb flooding.....
