has anyone had any problems with the 2004 225 honda outboard corrosion in the heat exchanger and plugging the water piss hose

Please explain what you mean by "heat exchanger."

Operating in fresh water or salt water?

It's not unusual for the nibble where the pisser hose attaches to get clogged up. Usually, a piece of heavy monofiliment or the string from a string cleaner run up through the pisser hose will clear it. Worst case scenario is that you need to disassemble the pressure relief valve it plugs into and clean that. Be sure to use new O rings and gaskets when you put it back together.
