Hi All,
Have learned much trolling these threads.
My 2003 BF225 has check engine light on, 1sec on 1sec off alarm. I was able to do the whole jump the harness and get the flashing code from the light. It's CODE 58
The motor has been tough to start, cranks but no spark and has stalled a few times at idle.
My understanding is that CODE 58 is the TDC sensor(s). To change them you need to remove the timing belt and throttle body. Makes me nervous. How hard is it to remove the timing belt? Looks involved in the shop manual.
Wondering if there is anything else I should check first or do. Has anyone accessed these sensors a different way?
Thank you
