Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with oil leaking out the bottom on the lower cowling after I run my Mercury 2 stroke 90. I notice this problem a few weeks back. I doesn't leak right away either. I'll run it with the muff on and check a couple hours later and no leak, but the next morning it had the oil leak. so I had all three carbs rebuilt, replace all the oil lines plus got a new oil cap, fuel lines, spark plugs and wires. I had a compression check done as well which all three were at 125. After all that it still does it. Any one have any suggestions?

Could be the bottom of the oil tank is leaking, There are wires with a rubber seal on the bottom. Pull the tank away from the motor and check that.

thanks for you input,I took off the oil tank and checked the wires and no leak, I then took off the bottom cowling and cleaned everything very nice so maybe I can see the new area wear it's dripping of leaking. I Also took off the air box to see if it's dripping out of the carbs. I honestly have no clue what else it can be. Spent way to much at the marine shop to bring it back and have them tell me it's something diff then what the told me first off.
