I have a 2000 Evinrude Ficht 150hp Model #: E150FPLSSV. EEM was rebuilt about 4 years ago. Recently when the engine would get to normal running temp and then it is shut off, when trying to restart the motor it will turn over but not crank. The key will turn over the engine and the fuel pump runs but will engine will not fire. Could only get it to fire by jumping the starter solenoid. Now the key switch will not turn the motor over it will only turn on the fuel pump and I have to jump the starter solenoid to get the engine to fire (it fires right up). I have replaced all the relays in the PDP, replaced the key switch, replaced the starter. I have ohm'd the capacitor and that is good. Not sure where else to check. I assume it is possible for the EEM to fail again but was hoping this is not the case.
