2000 115 ficht wont start

My engine shut down while going full throttle 2 times both times started right back up on my last run . Then let it sit for a few days and now wont start at all . any ideas ? Turns over gass ball stays hard .
 
Need to take it somewhere so they can hook it up to computer...gas bulb means nothing as it only fills fuel reservoir..
 
Take it to some one to fix is not what I was hoping for . What can I do myself . relays or possible power ? It turns ove
r just wont start . I will check make sure I have spark tonight .

I'm sure you didn't want to hear that, but hooking up to a computer with the correct diagnostic software is the best (possibly only) means of finding the exact problem. You need to get reports of EMM status and fault codes to point you in the right direction. Without that information you can spend a bunch of time and money on parts without resolving the issue.

Yes you can check for spark, but is your timing correct, fuel injectors firing properly, fuel pressure up to spec, TPS, MAF, temp sensor, oil level sensor..... Plugging into the diag software will tell you all this in addition to any present fault codes. It's the same thing any mechanic is going to do on your car or truck when it runs poor or you have a check engine light.
 
Just picked one of those up at a dealer.-----Dealer repowered the boat.------Picked it up for scrap value.----Hopefully the lower unit is good as it fits other applications.
