I have a 200 hp Mercury 2000 model year. It is only running on the 2 center cylinders. I have changed fuel line from tank to the motor and the primer ball. Changed spark plugs and no change. Took it to the shop said the power head gasket was bad they changed it and it ran fine. Took it out 2 days later still not running. Called the shop said fuel pump was bad. I changed that and rebuilt the lower pump. Still no change. I have spark on the top two and bottom two cylinders. When I pull the plugs they are wet like it’s getting fuel just fine. Any one ever had this issue or heard of it ?

Pull the injector covera nd see if bird/dirt dabbers have blocked off passages to those cylinders, gotta have air to run.

I checked everything looked ok. I did have someone try and start it while I looked to see if I could see the injectors while I had the cover off. It was hard to see but looked like I could see fuel coming out of the centers but not the others but even the center ones was hard to see. Is this something that should be fairly visible to see? Would be hard to explain why the plugs are wet if the injectors are not working but im honestly lost at this point. Is there a better way to check the injectors or Should I be looking into a different issue? Thanks for the reply back and I appreciate any help.
