2 beeps instead of 1

2002 mercruiser 5.0 mpi 2 beeps per minute alarm. No smartcraft gauges. I know it can be a whole list of things but i figured someone can help me narrow it down because it beeps twice when i click the key. Usually its only one beep. This beep also comes on twice per minute after i start it and its running. I changed the iac already and it has a new ignition coil module. Don't think its the water pressure sensor because it beeps twice before i even start it.
 
Here is what the manual says...................Disregard the engine size the information is the same for your engine.
 
This is not atypical behavior for forum noobs. They join because they have a problem they can't figure out. They're stressed. They often expect an answer within minutes. They think they will get instant relief from the problem as if by magic the internet will provide godlike wisdom and insight. When they don't get that the frustration bubbles up out of control and they lash out at the internet in anger. Now that they've alienated everyone, they leave. Now they tell all their buddies what a sh***y place marine engine.com forums are.
Sheesh.

Most here have pre EFI experience. A few who are still in the game have many of the answers for the EFI boat owner who posts here.

Based on the manual page I posted and from what I read, the answer is that if you have a break out box/ scanner/ what ever merc would use it would immediately tell you which sensor is causing the alarm.
So either you check ALL sensors and attempt to deduce which one is bad or bring it to a merc tech with the correct scanner and get your answer that way.

From my computer or cell phone I can not scan your engine from here.....
 
The scanner said sea water ckt hi. Wps then you think right? Well i swapped the one off the good motor onto this and its still beeps. Now I don't know if it's fixed and it just stored this fault and i need to clear it or what. Thanks.
 
And now an ex merc tech is telling me that mine doesn't have the smart craft gauges so the wps isn't being used even though its there and hooked up?!
