I have a new to me 1998 Johnson 35 HP 3 Cylinder J35TKLECA with a No Spark Condition on all 3 cylinders. Ran one day and not the next. CDI and coils were replaced, it again ran one day and not the next. Bypassed the key start, same issue. CDI and coils were tested and are in spec. Previous owner stated that he had it looked and and was told it had a "grounding issue" and the tech had it running in 3 minutes. Tech is no longer available to ask what it was causing the "grounding issue". All grounds, including the battery terminals were cleaned to a polish, same issue. I have ran out of ideas, any input greatly appreciated!

I sent a good powerpack out to someone 1000 miles away.-----Got a phone call 3 months later from someone who bought that motor with no spark still.-----Asked me about a used stator.-----Coached the man about these orange wires.-----He never called back.------I suggest you repair / replace the pins that fit into the plug.

OK, orange to ground yields nothing, however, orange to orange/black gives me 55 ohms,

My factory manual states to test 2 orange wires.----Should read 57 +/- 5 ohm.
Yes, I am getting 55 ohms. Just finished testing the power pack as far as I can without an DVA and everything checks out. Kill circuit is also testing fine. I have GOT to have a short/open somewhere. Probably someting so simple I will go "DOH!" after finding it.
