1997 Johnson venom 200 not getting fuel

So I have searched this site up and down for a fix to my problem so here we go.

my motor is a J200stlece

Much like many other post the motor runs as long as I pump the primer bulb. I can hear the carb bowls fill up and seems to run until they are empty. I have a clear inline filter. It stays full with no air in it.

things I have done.
Compression in Cylinders are all 100 and one 95.

Spark gap test performed and all good spark

new champion spark plugs

rebuilt fuel pump with purple diaphragm

cleaned and sanded warping out of carbs

So now it is warning no oil and check engine which it did not do initially when the problem started. Was thinking vaccum line out of crainkcase??? Do not know how to test it. It is the blue barbed fitting. I have taken the vaccum line off and turned motor over and felt pressure coming out which seemed weird since it’s a VACUUM line??????? I did check that line and it is clear of defects.

anything will help. Thank you ahead of time

Not sure how I could have put the fuel pump together wrong. I did take it back apart to check behind myself and it seemed right.

did not let engine run long enough when warnings were going to see if it would stop when I primed the bulb again. I shut it off primed bulb and started it again and it ran the same without warning light.

If you dont not hear the VRO "clack" when running its not cycling and reason your having to pump bulb. If you have a air leak or cracked housing on air motor side it wont function. If oil plunger is bound up on oil side (non repairable) it wont function and will give a oil warning due to oil piston not moving. And last is weak crankcase vac/pressure due to worn cylinder/piston skirt.

Well that was some great input. The oil plunger side is a little harder to come apart. Meaning I have to put some pressure on it to get it to come apart when rebuilding it.

again when taking vaccum hose off and putting my finger over it I felt pressure not suction from it? Is that right

also I have in the past pumped bowls full took line off of pump going to fuel rail started motor and no fuel comes out the discharge said of pump

Two stroke 101----Your motor is a 2 stage air processing machine.-----Air / fuel is first drawn into the crankcase with UP motion of the piston.-----When piston is coming down in the cylinder it compresses this air / fuel mixture in the crankcase.---Your motor has six separate crankcases too.-----That PRESSURE is used to drive the fuel pump and to transfer the compressed mixture into the cylinder .------When it goes into the cylinder it scavenges ( blows out ) the remaining exhaust.-----The piston then comes up and compresses the air / fuel mixture once exhaust ports close.---You won't feel much suction at that port because reed valves open.-----Bottom line is , you need to investigate why your fuel pump is NOT working.------Defective pump or an air leak between the pump and the pick up screen inside your fuel tank.----Perhaps test run with a 6 gallon portable tank and a good hose.

Well since we are looking at the vro pump. I noticed someone saying something about a recall and vro pumps going to a three wire instead of a four wire???? What’s that about?

The wiring on the VRO pump has to do with the alarm function of the pump.----Some testing on your part needs to be done.----Or take it to your friendly boat repair shop for diagnosis.

Ok changed the line from pulse limiter put fuel line in 5 gallons of mix fuel.
Pump is not moving and I do not see anything wrong. Out of ideas. Even took water and soap and sprayed it around vro to make sure it was not loosing air to cause the diaphragms not to move.

Well----I have a vast supply of VRO and other fuel pumps.------Even one from say a 1966 model 100 HP to install as a TEST PUMP only.----There must be a way to find any pump at an outboard shop to test your crankcase pressure pulse and slight vacuum pulse.-----Perhaps the 2 check valves on the pump air motor are not working on yours.--Those check valves direct air pressure to one side of the air motor and the slight negative to the other side --Sorry ---Be an easy diagnosis here.

lso I have in the past pumped bowls full took line off of pump going to fuel rail started motor and no fuel comes out the discharge said of pump
No fuel will discharge from pump till you hear the "clack"...
