1994 Johnson 150 Stalling out.

I have a 1994 Johnson !50 and before spring i rebuilt the carburetors, put a new VRO pump on it and replaced the water pump. Carried it to the lake and it ran like a champ. The second time we carried it to the lake it would cut off when run a low speed close to idling. We went camping last week, the first day we carried it out the cutting off at low speed to idling was worse. The second day it would not stay running at all and when it did the motor acted like it was bogging down and had a very bad vibration to it. I just replaced all the float chamber assemblies on the carbs and it is not any better. Any suggestions or HELP PLEASE!!!!

Check the spark. It should jump a 7/16 " open air gap on a spark tester.

Thanks for the Help Boobie. It was the Bottom Coil. Runs like a champ again!!! I replace the Power Pack and coils 3 years ago with the CDI Electronics brand and have had to replace all three of the coils. Top one end of last year and I went ahead on replaced the other two today. Thank for your help again

CDI parts quality is laughable...that why I use Sierra. CDI started the downhill slide when Ray retired...
