1992 Four Winns OMC 4.3 problem

I own a 1992 Four Winns OMC with a 4.3. I am not getting any spark. Motor cranks, but no spark. Wondering if it could be the coil? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Got a test light, do you have juice up to the coil? Or run a jumper to the pos side of the coil from the pos battery lug.

Is this a 4 bbl model, the early 90's 4.3's had that damn Spitfire ignition module instead of a reg distributor.

It's a module, not a distibutor. I got the module out and am just gonna buy one to see if this is the problem.

I have a 93 Four Winns with the 4.3 that has the same problem. NO SPARK. I ohm'd out the coil and it appears good, but I hate to buy the module at $200 bucks if I'm not sure if it's going to fix it. Does anyone know of a way to test it?

I am getting voltage at the coil. With everything hooked up I read 4.8 volts on the primary side. When I disconnect the (-) wires I read 12V.

OMCvin...good luck, I'm pretty sure the Spitfire ignition is not available anymore unless you find a used one...maybe on ebay???
