Hello to all.
My Rude seems to be running on 2 cylinders for several minutes after cranking. It has a definite power loss and the sound is noticeably different than normal. After several minutes, I can actually feel and hear it begin to start trying to gain that 3rd cylinder. Then, bam, the engine sounds normal and runs normal.....Any thoughts to where I should start troubleshooting will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Tim H.

after the compression and spark checked wire a gap tester I would use an inductive timing light to determine if its a fuel or fire failure... another way to see what cylinder is failing is to pull the plug wires one at a time while the failure is present....the one that don't make a difference is the failing one..

Ok. I have changed plugs and the next time out it performed great. Then..... the next time it was missing upon initial start-up, but after a few minutes it began running right.

troubleshooting is the way to go...refer to my earlier entry...parts replacement with no logic behind it can get expensive..
