1986 Johnson 140 J140TLCDC Carb question

In the carb part diagram this engine is listed to have different intermediate orifices for the port and stbd sides. I would assume that the port stbd is determined the same as a boat looking from back to front port is on the left?

I rebuilt my carbs and installed the orifices according to this assumption and the engine barely idles and will only reach about 5K RPM. (Would turn over 6K RPM before rebuild)

What should I check?

Nope.... this is a x flow block and looking at the carbs the left side carbs feed the right side of engine and vise versa. Swap jets around and make sure you put the correct on in the idle circuit.....
