Good morning and thanking you all in advance.
I have a 1986 hp 2 cylinder 2 stroke Mariner outboard, with absolutely no fuel exiting the fuel pump, except on bulb pumping. The fuel pump is clear, clean and undamaged. Both cylinders read 115 but am wondering whether I am getting enough vacuum from the block for the pump to work. I was not able to get a reading from my compression tester. Is there a way to determine the pulse from the block? It feels good on the thumb, and there are no leaks when the pump is on. Any assistance will be gratefully accepted.
