1985 Mercruiser 470/170HP motor with coolant leak through outdrive

Hi folks,

I have an '85 470 Mercruiser motor that I recently purchased...it runs pretty well, but had some issues...just had to replace the power steering pump--found one that was a pretty good match @ Auto Zone...anyway, I checked the coolant, and it was empty. I filled it up during the fluid checkup two weeks ago, then checked it again this weekend and it was empty. I filled it up with water, and noticed a slow drip out of the front of the outdrive, but nowhere else that I could see around the engine.

What should I check to find the coolant leak?
