1985 Evinrude 60 hp stator upgrade

I have a 1985 Evinrude E60ELCOD 60hp that has a bad stator. I have a OEM replacement but it is only good for 4 amps and I was wondering if there is any way to upgrade this. I have been looking to see if there is a stator from another model that has a higher output and might fit, but so far I have found nothing. Plan B would be to see if the 4 amp replacement can be rewound for a higher output. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am restoring the motor as well as the boat it came on and I just want to make sure my batteries stay charged when running radios, lights etc. Thanks.

Might research a model in the early 80's has they had bigger stator....might interchange.

I found a stator that fit up to a 1984 60 hp "0763770 - Stator ". I can't tell from the picture of it will fit my engine or not. But for only 1 amp more it doesn't seem like it would be worth the expense. My auxiliary motor puts out 7 amps so I was hoping no could get at least that out of my main, but such is life I guess.
