Hi all, since boat is purchased used wanted to make sure what direction thrust washer should face. I appreciate it

That side faces motor..flat side to prop

Yes, notice how the splines are tapered, this matches the spline on the prop shaft.

I see sure does make sense, just usual diagrams have it other way, but I notice high rpm’s but low mph, and wanted to reduce one problem....it was on the wrong way, guess back to the water.... thanks
